PROJECTS --
This is where I'll be "documenting" my work. If you have any suggestions or anything, just leave a comment. If you are interested in helping me with a project, just email me: hog_the_blog@hotmail.com
You should note that I'm not that experienced with flash. I'm only 14, so don't expect me to utilize all the tricky math functions. I look at helpful tutorials and work off the knowledge I acquire from them. I've only been flashing for around 2 months, so by no means am I a pro. You can, however, find me lurking around the flashkit.com game forum and asking stupid questions.
Alien Jackball: UPDATED - i'VE completed the scoring system and the fist 3 stages. Now, you get to beat up a goth. Seriously, though, goths suck. And if that isn't cool enough, you get to destroy a car. I'm still working with the cosmetic damage effect. MY PROBLEM: Inside the car MC, there are 3 frames containing the physics code. The only way I can create a damage effect is if I had access to those frames. Creating more frames could screw up the code.
FReeDOM - To put it bluntly, this game kicks butt. I took my GTA engine and implemented it into this game. Anyway, the premise is basic and unoriginal. You fight zombies. I've got a point-n-click system that allows to click anywhere on the map so the scientist can walk there. So far, I've created 3 stages (the 3rd is a boss). Anyway, I'll be done soon!
ROBO-RUNNER In this game, you control your character with the mouse. I'm pretty much done with the first level. Unfortunately, it's extremely cheesy and looks very unpolished. If anyone could direct me to some good tutorials about movement with the mouse, that would be great.
Anyway, I'll be getting some screenshots up here eventually. So hang tight.
